On Day two we hiked up Firescrew and then across to Cardigan Mountain. This day was the longest most strenuous trek of all the three days we were there. We passed from the region of Friescrew Mt. to the region of Cardigan. We also hiked from Cardigan lodge where inbetween Cardigan we passed through Northern Hardwood, barial, and alpine, forests. We then had to pass back through those forest regions to get back to the AMC lodge. Cardigan Mountain is in side of the region of Orange, NH while Cardigan AMC lodge is inside the region of the town Alexandria, NH. Those towns are inside the region of New England as well as inside of the region of the USA.
